ANNOUNCEMENT
Congratulations to Ms. Georgia Vourou of Stony Brook University and Ms. Konstantina Alamani of New Jersey Institute of Technology, our well-deserving and inspiring 2026 awardees of the Katerina Navab Excellence Tuition Scholarship in Humanities and the Amalia Colombos Excellence Tuition Scholarship in STEM, respectively.

As a charitable and educational organization, AGAPW considers the offering of Student Awards to be an important part of our mission.
We are proud and pleased to announce the establishment of our:
EXCELLENCE TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS:
- The Katerina Navab Excellence Tuition Scholarship in Humanities
- The Amalia Colombos Excellence Tuition Scholarship in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Each year, we offer two scholarships of $1,500 each to two recipients. These scholarships are awarded to female students of Greek descent enrolled in a four year accredited Bachelor’s program in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The selection criteria are based on academic excellence, community service and financial need. The applicant must submit 3 required documents:
- A personal statement (1-2 pages) describing her academic focus (major/minor, interests, and the university she is attending), her aspirations, and her connection and service to the Greek American community;
- An unofficial transcript indicating the status of enrollment and course grades;
- A financial statement (1-2 paragraphs) describing her and/or her family’s financial status.

Applications are accepted between December 1st and March 15th.
