{"id":17,"date":"2011-10-04T12:15:17","date_gmt":"2011-10-04T12:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/agapw.org\/site\/?page_id=17"},"modified":"2026-03-28T17:46:27","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T17:46:27","slug":"awards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/agapw.org\/site\/awards","title":{"rendered":"AWARDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Awards<\/h1>\n<p>As a charitable and educational organization, AGAPW considers the offering of Student Awards to be an important part of our mission.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud and pleased to announce the establishment of our:<\/p>\n<p><strong>EXCELLENCE TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"padbelow\" type=\"disc\">\n<li type=\"disc\"><strong>The Katerina Navab Excellence Tuition Scholarship in Humanities<\/strong><\/li>\n<li type=\"disc\"><strong><strong>The Amalia Colombos Excellence Tuition Scholarship in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each year, we offer two scholarships of $1,500 each to two recipients. These scholarships are awarded to female students of Greek descent enrolled in a four year accredited Bachelor\u2019s program in the tri-state area of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.<br \/>\nThe selection criteria are based on academic excellence, community service and financial need.
